Nic Nemeth Teases Calling His Shot After Mike Santana Retains World Title at TNA Genesis 2026

The TNA World Championship was on the line in a Texas Death Match, with Mike Santana defending the title against Frankie Kazarian. Nic Nemeth was also involved, serving as the special guest referee for the match.

This was a big night for Mike Santana, because he was defending the title that he just won during the companys AMC debut on Thursday night.

This main event match saw Santana get a full-on Jey Uso entrance, as he approached the ring through a packed vestibule in the arena and the crowd. Then fans got a close look of the action as the match spilled out onto the floor.

In the end, Santana wrapped his arm in barbed wire and he nailed a Spin The Block to get a pinfall, and then Santana got back on his feet before the 10 count to win the match and retain the TNA World Title.

After the match, Nic Nemeth raised his hand, but he wasnt a referee anymore. He nailed his finisher and retrieved his trophy to cash in his guaranteed title match. Then Nemeth called for a referee, but Mike Santana took Nemeth out with a Spin The Block before the referee could come down to start the match.

We will have to see what happens next in TNA Wrestling. The company has a lot of momentum going for them right now, and the main event of Genesis certainly brought a lot of action.
