Daria Rae may be taking over TNA Wrestlings authority role on-screen, but dont expect her to be taking bumps anytime soon.
Following her dramatic heel turn on Santino Marella and self-reintroduction as The Suit, speculation ran wild about whether the former Sonya Deville would eventually return to the ring. But according to Sean Ross Sapp on the Fightful Select Q&A podcast, there are currently no plans for her to wrestle.
Raes return came through her connections with TNAs parent company, Anthem Sports & Entertainment. She had previously worked with their Invicta FC MMA promotionan affiliation that helped open the door for her new role. While Sapp didnt rule out a future in-ring return, its not something thats currently on the table.
Daria Rae might look like shes ready to throw down, but dont count on a return to the ring just yet. With no matches on the horizon and her focus locked in on running the show, shes making her presence felt in a totally different way. Whether fans like it or not, The Suit is here to manage, not fightat least for now.
