Mike Santana isnt ruling out a future with WWEbut hes not rushing into anything either.
The reigning TNA World Champion recently appeared on Cheap Heat with Peter Rosenberg and was asked point-blank about the idea of leaving TNA for WWE. Santana, who competed five times on WWE NXT in 2025including the Team TNA vs. Team NXT elimination match at Showdownoffered a grounded and reflective response. Rather than getting swept up in speculation, Santana made it clear that hes staying locked in on whats right in front of him.
Santana acknowledged that hes aware of WWEs appealespecially growing up a fanbut says his commitment remains with TNA for now.
As someone who grew up dreaming of a WWE run, Santana didnt pretend the thought never crosses his mind.
Santana recently regained the TNA World Title by defeating Frankie Kazarian on the AMC premiere of TNA iMPACT! on January 15, and hell defend that title against Kazarian again at Genesis 2026 in a Texas Deathmatch, with Nic Nemeth serving as special guest referee.
Santanas measured response makes one thing clearhes not chasing headlines. Hes chasing legacy.
