In a video she posted in November 2025, Rebel shared that she was initially told she had cryptococcal pneumonia and spent 12 months on anti-fungal medication, only to later find out it was cancer all along.
On top of the cancer diagnosis, Rebel also revealed she was suffering from Functional Neurological Disordera devastating condition that robbed her of basic mobility and motor skills. She explained that it had affected her ability to walk, speak, and even use her right hand.
Before she could even begin cancer treatment, Rebel had to tackle a dangerous infection with IV antibiotics. She was hopeful that she could begin radiation or chemotherapy in early 2026but now, the tone has shifted. Her latest post doesnt mention treatment progress, only the difficult reality of her new status.
Despite the devastating update, Rebel remains focused on recovery. Shes now working to get into a more advanced rehab program in hopes of regaining more functionality as she continues her fight.
