AEW is still doing their thing every week, but they are not renting buildings as large as they used to. It seems that fan interest has noticeably fallen as well. These new videos arent the best look for the company.
A video has surfaced of AEWs merchandise line before AEW Dynamite this week. This didnt show a ton of interest in picking up new swag from Tony Khans company.
Years ago, we ran articles about how long AEWs merchandise line was. It is not the case anymore. This new video shows little to no line, with some fans standing around in front of the display.
Another video has surfaced of fans leaving the arena early. The caption on this video stated that these fans left after hearing that AEW dropped the ball on Powerhouse Hobbs.
Of course, Powerhouse Hobbs is expected to wind up in WWE after his AEW deal ran out. He actually turned down an AEW contract before taking off. This was not what some fans wanted to hear at all, and it seems that it may have presented enough of a reason for those disgruntled fans to take off before the night was over.
We will have to see what is next for AEW. If this is any sign of things to come, couple with the fact that Netflix is possibly buying WBD, Tony Khans organization may in for a long year.
