According to Sean Ross Sapp on The Hump, Parkers comeback is part of a larger rebuild strategy for the NXT womens division, and her injury absence was the only thing delaying her rise.

Parker made her return during a segment with Blake Monroe, storming the ring and sending Monroe retreating before declaring, Im back! to loud Miss Parker chants from the crowd. The energy of her return moment is exactly what WWE is looking to harness, as Sapp explained further:

With Parker now healthy and being positioned for a key storyline opposite Monroe, its clear WWE is betting big on her futureand fans should expect her to play a major role on NXT TV in the months leading to Stand & Deliver.
