Tully Blanchard might be inching closer to a return to the NWA, and the company has taken notice.
Ringside News has confirmed that the NWA is very interested in working with Blanchard again. While no formal discussions have taken place, sources indicate that the door is open. The promotion has previously welcomed Blanchards fellow Horsemen Ric Flair, Barry Windham, and JJ Dillon for appearances in recent years, making a potential return feel like a natural progression.
The renewed interest follows a string of social media activity involving Blanchard and the company. After a clip of Kerry Morton surfaced on Instagram, Blanchard commented, I should come see this in person. The NWA replied directly: Let speculation begin whether you mean @real_kerry_morton or @invincible_will!
Shortly after, Blanchard tagged NWA in a post on X featuring a throwback photo of himself holding the NWA World Television Title with the caption: The only thing prettier than that title is myself! The NWA reposted it, praising his legacy and promoting current champion Bryan Idols title defenses on NWA POWERRR.
Blanchards most recent run came with AEW, where he managed FTR and was briefly aligned with The Pinnacle before quietly exiting the company. Now, all signs point to mutual interest between Blanchard and the NWA even if no formal agreement has been reached yet.
