WWE SmackDown on January 9, 2026 went down in Berlin, Germanys Uber Arena. Next week, WWE SmackDown will be in Londons Wembley Arena for the January 16 episode, and they have a lot in store for fans.
The Undisputed WWE Championship needs a new #1 contender after Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyres insane 3 Stages of Hell match. They have figured out four matches next week, where the winners will go on to a massive #1 contender battle.
The Miz and Randy Orton will face each other in one match. Another match will see Matt Cardona take on Trick Williams. The third #1 contender qualifying match will be Damian priest against Solo Sikoa. Finally, Ilja Dragunov will take on Sami Zayn.
The winners of those matches will throw down in a four-way battle at Saturday Nights Main Event on January 24. It will be interesting to see who walks out of that match as the new #1 contender.
