Jim Ross has responded to D-Von Dudleys latest allegationsand this time, hes willing to reconnect, but only behind closed doors.
On the January 8, 2026 episode of Grilling JR, Ross directly addressed D-Vons newly shared story about an alleged racist incident that took place during WWEs Attitude Era. While Ross strongly denied ever making such remarks, he also made it clear hes open to mending fencesbut not in public.
Ross doubled down on his stance: he denies ever saying anything racist to D-Von and says he doesnt even recall any heated exchanges between the two. Despite expressing confusion over D-Vons claims, Ross said he holds no resentmentand even extended an invitation to speak privately.
Good ol JR closed with a sentiment that put focus on personal respect and a desire to keep the issue off-camera, as he made it clear he does like D-Von Dudley.
This marks the first time Ross has softened his tone since the feud began in late 2025, when D-Von first accused him of making racist remarksa claim Ross initially called absurd. Whether the two wrestling legends will actually meet and reconcile remains to be seen, but fans are hoping for the best.
