Trick Williams made a huge impact with his SmackDown arrival and his fiance Lash Legend is backing him all the way.
Following his live promo on the January 2, 2026 edition of WWE SmackDown, WWEs official account posted a clip asking: Is Trick Williams the future of WWE? Lash Legend wasted no time answering, quote-posting the clip with a simple response:
Undeniably so!!
The moment capped off a big night for Trick Williams, who interrupted Sami Zayns promo and declared his intentions to become World Heavyweight Champion. Fans in Buffalo erupted with Whoop That Trick! chants as the former two-time NXT Champion laid out his mission on the blue brand.
Backstage later in the night, Nick Aldis booked Trick Williams in his first SmackDown match, setting him up to face Rey Fenix another sign WWE is betting big on his future.
With Lash Legend showing public support and WWE spotlighting his arrival, it looks like Trick Williams is being positioned as one of the blue brands biggest breakout stars in 2026.
