Vince McMahon mightve officially stepped down from WWE and TKO in 2024 after being slapped with a sex trafficking lawsuit, but Vince Russo thinks fans shouldnt be so quick to believe hes actually out of the picture.

On the Coach and Bro show, Russo didnt hold back when discussing McMahons alleged continued influence in WWEs creative processeven after the public fallout and multiple executives voting against his return.

According to Russo, what seemed like a permanent separation was actually a carefully staged performance.

And he didnt stop there. Russo pointed to specific segments on WWE television that, in his view, scream Vince. One example? The Joe Hendry song aired on SmackDown, which mocked The Mizs tiny balls.

The former WWE writer was adamant that this kind of creative direction is vintage McMahon.

These comments directly challenge the company line from March 2024, when TKO COO Mark Shapiro declared during a Morgan Stanley Conference:

So, whats the truth? Is Vince McMahon really gone, or is he still steering WWEs creative ship from the shadows? Only time will tell, but if Russos right, then fans might be seeing more of Vinces style than they think.
