Becky Lynch is fumingand shes aiming her fire directly at Ariel Helwani after Iyo Sky was named Female Wrestler of the Year for 2025 by Uncrowned.
Shortly after the awards post went live on December 31, 2025, Lynch took to Twitter to rip Ariel for allegedly backing a decision she sees as totally undeserved. She didnt hold back.
The tweet was in direct response to a post from @uncrownedcombat, which announced Iyo Sky as the 2025 Female Wrestler of the Year. The image showed Iyo topping the list over names like Mercedes Mon, Tiffany Stratton, and Rhea Ripley. Becky, despite a strong year, landed in sixth placeclearly a sore spot.
Uncrowned praised Iyos year, writing that 2025 seemed to unleash something brand new in her, but Becky isnt buying it. Instead, she accuses Helwani of losing touch with the business.
The fact that she called out Ariel by namenot Uncrownedsuggests she sees him as the voice behind the rankings. Whether thats true or not, Lynchs message was loud and clear: she thinks the whole thing stinks.
Beckys been a central figure in WWEs womens division for years, and her frustration may stem from more than just losing an awardits about respect. And judging by this reaction, she doesnt feel she got any. This wasnt a playful jab. This was Becky Lynch putting the entire system on blast.
