Its official: the WWE Network era on Peacock is over, and the massive wrestling archive fans once binged at will is gonefor now.
As of December 31, 2025, WWEs video-on-demand content has started being removed from Peacock, following the end of key elements in the five-year deal between WWE and NBCUniversals streaming service. According to Fightful Select, no new agreement was reached to extend access to WWEs vast content library, leaving classic shows, pay-per-views, and territory-era footage without a central streaming home.
The timing wasnt a surprise to insiders, but it still hit fans hardespecially those hoping to relive iconic moments from the Attitude Era, ECW, WCW, and beyond. So whats next? Fightful reports that WWE is expected to lean heavily into its social media presence to bridge the gapspecifically YouTube.
However, fans hoping for an instant upload of the full archive should temper expectations. Sources told Fightful that WWE has no plans that weve heard of to simply mass release all their content, unless they reach a deal with a different platform to host their library. In other words, WWE is actively exploring a non-exclusive host for its content, but dont count on a Netflix-style drop anytime soon.
Still, not everything is leaving Peacock. Saturday Nights Main Event and NXT Premium Live Events will continue to air under separate agreements, meaning WWE still has some presence on the platformjust not the deep cuts and legendary classics that made the full library so essential.
