Billy Horschel, a key figure in the defending champions, commented on the new season that things will be much more exciting given the innovations that have been introduced.
An experienced golfer is aware that the audience will be open to such innovations, but it is clear that the leaders of TGL will not stop there and plan to progress year by year.

"I understand why we really didn't want to go down that route yet, but we're doing that in season two, creating some holes that are maybe a little bit unrealistic in sense of the regular golf world," Horschel told the Sky Sports Golf podcast.
There was going to be a stigma that TGL was just this high-tech golf league, that guys didn't really care and they were going to be gimmicky holes, so we wanted to show that it still had a lot of the similar forms of golf and style of golf that we play out on real grass."
Changes
Changes compared to last season include a larger putting green with different slopes, larger bunkers in new positions, more locations for holes, larger hitting boxes and improved cameras.
Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods are certainly the main stars of the league, and fans hope that they will make a breakthrough with their team and win trophies.

Horschel shared only positive emotions about the previous edition, believing that in the coming years this project will become more recognizable and gain many more fans.
"We created a lot of traditional golf holes but now we have created some holes that are going to showcase our shot-making ability, showcase who we are as players a little bit and how good we are."
