After that, the four-time Grand Slam champion will arrive in Melbourne where the Australian Open will take place. The star from Sesto Pusteria has triumphed in this tournament in the last two editions and wants to become the second player in the Open Era after Novak Djokovic to lift this trophy three times in a row.

Before the start of the Happy Slam, the former world No.1 will face Canadian ace Felix Auger-Aliassime in an exhibition match on January 16.
One of Jannik's main goals in 2026 will be to return to the top of the ATP rankings, a goal that is definitely achievable considering that he is only 550 points away from Carlitos.
Sinner will have to defend 2000 points in Australia against Alcaraz's 900, but the Italian champion will be able to earn a lot of points from February to May having not been able to play in 2025 at that time due to the ban imposed on him by WADA.
Interviewed by Formula 1 CEO Stefano Domenicali during the last GP of the season in Abu Dhabi, the world number 2 confessed that the rivalry with Carlos motivates him to give his best: "Rivalries are what make the sport even better. When I faced rivals who beat me often, I had extra motivation to grow and improve.
