Sammy Guevara and Tay Melo may be one of AEWs most beloved wrestling couples, but even they hit a crossroads now and thenthis time, over getting a dog.
Sammy Guevara took to Twitter and uploaded a video, which showed Tay Melo bringing out the big guns with a full-blown PowerPoint-style presentation titled Why We Need a Dog, hoping to convince her husband to finally say yes. The video starts with Melo laying out the emotional perks of having a dog:
She then took it a step further, showing a breakdown of the costsonly to drop a brutal punchline by threatening to divorce Sammy if her demands are not met.
Sammy, visibly stunned, responded by noting that he really needed to sit down, saying, Im gonna go back and sit down. But Melo wasnt done. She wrapped up her pitch with a firm conclusion as she stated that having a happy wife means a happy life and that theyre going to get a dog.
Still, Guevara didnt caveat least not on camera, as he said, We are not getting a dog but I do like Clifford the dog though.
Whether Melo gets her pup remains to be seen, but some fans do find it odd that Tay Melo would threaten to divorce Sammy Guevara over a dog, even if it might have been meant as a joke.
