Wrestling fans just got a dose of nostalgia they didnt know they needed as Jim Ross and Jerry The King Lawler reunited today.
Ross took to Twitter and uploaded a photo of himself alongside Lawler at an Ultimate Stars Promotions event in Pittsburgh. The Hall of Fame duo were all smiles, and JR joked that while its chilly in Pittsburgh, theyre hot at the event.
This comes after Good ol JR teased a potential reunion with Lawler during an interview on Busted Open Radio with Tommy Dreamer. At the time, the topic was a hypothetical AEW appearance featuring the two legendspossibly in Memphis. JR wasnt opposed, but made it clear that anything more than a one-off wasnt in the cards.
With Lawler still making select appearances following his health battles, and JR continuing to work pay-per-views for AEW, these public reunions are becoming rareand even more special.
Whether or not the two ever link up again on commentary, this surprise meetup is a reminder of why their voices became part of wrestlings soundtrack for generations.
