A fan at the December 17, 2025, AEW Dynamite taping in Manchester claims his Palestinian flag was confiscated by securityand he filmed the moment it happened inside Co-Op Live.
The clip, posted to Reddit, shows a female security guard walking away from the seating area holding a flag. Off camera, the fan can be heard confronting her over the move. But the guard doesnt respond. Instead, she simply smiles and keeps walking.
The Reddit post, titled Palestinian flag confiscated from the aisle seats during the AEW Dynamite taping, includes the full backstory. According to the fan, he brought both Palestinian and Trans pride flags to AEW shows beforewith zero issues until now.
As of now, AEW has not released a statement regarding the incident. However, multiple fans online believe this was a venue-specific decision made by Co-Op Live rather than AEW itself a reminder that security policies usually vary from one location to another.
This isnt the first time pro-Palestinian imagery at a wrestling show led to controversy this year. Back in June, during Monday Night Raw, a young fan brought a CM Punk sign featuring the Palestinian flagonly for WWE security to take it away mid-show. The boys father posted about the moment on TikTok.
The sign actually appeared on-air during a John Cena segment, but once the cameras cut, security moved in.
What hurt the most, the dad said, was trying to explain it all to his son afterwards when his son asked him why they didnt like Palestine.
Everyone has a right to express themselves but when venues start pulling flags, it blurs the line between policy and silencing.
What do you think should fans be allowed to bring political or national flags to shows, or is it fair game for venues to step in? Sound off in the comments.
