AEWs Dynamite Diamond Ring Battle Royal brought the heat overseas as the December 17 taping in Manchester, UK, delivered one of the best matches of the night ending with Ricochet and Bandido as the co-winners.
The annual battle royal featured a stacked roster including Brody King, Mark Davis, Max Caster, Anthony Bowens, and Shelton Benjamin. But it was Ricochet who kicked things off solo, flying across the ring and setting the tone early with his high-speed offense.
From that point, the match didnt let up. Chaos broke out as bodies flew over the top rope and every competitor looked to earn the right to challenge for AEWs flashiest piece of gold the Dynamite Diamond Ring, a prize MJF has historically refused to give up.
In the end, it all came down to Ricochet and Bandido, who are the co-winners. They will now face each other in a singles match in a future show in order to determine who actually gets to challenge MJF for the diamond ring in the future.
With Worlds End right around the corner and MJF officially back in the mix, the winner will find himself directly in the crosshairs of the Salt of the Earth. So well have to see wholl earn the right to face MJF in the end.
