Gunther didnt just end John Cenas legendary career he strutted through a sea of furious fans and loved every second of it.
In his TMZ Inside The Ring interview, Gunther opened up about the chaos outside the arena in Washington D.C. and the volcanic reaction on Monday Night Raw the following night. While most wrestlers mightve ducked the heat, Gunther embraced it literally.
When asked about walking through a mob of fans without covering his face or hiding, Gunther explained it was entirely intentional.
He didnt just stop there. After retiring Cena in brutal fashion, Gunther walked into Raw the next night knowing fans were boiling with rage and thats exactly why he said nothing. He chose to feed off the crowds hatred instead of defusing it.
Gunther is turning WWE upside down not just with what he does in the ring, but how unapologetically he carries himself outside of it. The boos, the anger, the shock hes feeding off it all.
