Penta has officially pulled out of AAAs Guerra de Titanes on December 20, crushing hopes of a full-blown Lucha Bros reunion with Rey Fenix. The decision is final, and its coming straight from the man himself.
In am Instagram video, Penta addressed fans directly and confirmed what many feared: he wont be medically cleared in time to compete.
Despite the setback, Penta wont miss the event entirely. He told fans hell be in attendance at Guerra de Titanes, and he had a huge replacement announcement to go with the update.
But Penta didnt stop there. He also sent a warning to one man in particularDominik Mysterio.
Penta was originally injured during a November 24 episode of WWE RAW in a match against Solo Sikoa. A hurricanrana off the barricade went wrong, and the match was stopped immediately by officials. Since then, his return status has been closely monitored by both fans and doctors, but ultimately WWE refused to give clearance. Heres the updated card for Guerra de Titanes:
