Before AEW Dynamite aired live on December 10 from The Gateway Center Arena in College Park, Georgia, Borden wrestled in a dark match against Kiran Grey. He not only picked up the win, but he made a hell of an impression doing it. Backstage reactions have since ignited serious talk about his future with AEW.
Tony Khan spoke to Fightful Select about the performance and didnt hesitate to give the kind of praise that sounds like a prelude to a contract.
Another AEW staff member went even further, joking theyd give up years of their NFL team winning just to have Bordens look. That physique became the most talked-about trait among those who saw him in person. But the most telling reaction came from within the AEW system. One source reportedly said:
