After the tragic passing of acclaimed director and actor Rob Reiner and his wife Michele, Donald Trump created outrage with a controversial post that used their deaths to insult Reiners political beliefs. Now, Foley is taking a public stand on his Instagram Story and calling out his fellow WWE colleagues in the process.
Foleys comments came shortly after news broke that beloved filmmaker and activist Rob Reiner and his wife Michele Reiner were found stabbed to death in their Los Angeles home. The shocking double homicide sent Hollywood into mourning but Trump decided to respond by mocking Reiner and calling his death the result of Trump Derangement Syndrome.
In a now-viral Truth Social post, Trump wrote that Reiners death was caused by the anger he caused others through his massive, unyielding, and incurable affliction with a mind crippling disease known as TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME. That tone-deaf response led to a ton of outrage with rocker Jack White going scorched earth on the US President on Instagram as well.
Law enforcement has arrested the Reiners son, Nick, in connection with the double homicide. Police are still investigating the motive. The brutal nature of the deaths shocked fans and peers alike and Trumps post only poured gasoline on an already raging fire.
While tributes pour in from across entertainment, Mick Foleys response is definitely one of the strongest reactions yet from a name connected to both politics and pro wrestling.
