Victoria Mboko's coach Nathalie Tauziat thinks that verbally abusing individuals "have no brain" and has praised players for exposing angry bettors.
Over the last couple of years, social media abusehas become a significant issue in tennis as numerous players have complained that their Instagram DM gets flooded with all kinds of negative and insulting messages after losses. In the majority of cases, such messages come from individuals who placed some money on a tennis match and lost it.
Unless a player deactivates Instagram or other social media accounts, there is no way for them to stop receiving messages - good or bad. However, more and more players have lately started taking a screenshot of the messages they receive and sharing it with the public. That often leads to the public seeing the names of the individuals who insult players.

"The people who do that have nothing better to do in their lives, thats what players need to understand these people have no brain! Its a bad thing, its good that people speak openly about it, but there is not much you can do, so its better not to get caught up in it all," Tauziat told CLAY.
Tauziat, a former eight-time WTA champion and a former world No. 3, has also urged tennis coaches and staff to make sure they do everything possible to protect their players.
"Of course. In my time, we didnt have this. Theyre used to it, though, these kids were born with it, but its up to parents and the players entourage to make sure that the whole social media thing doesnt go too far," the 58-year-old added.

Meanwhile, Tauziat has already enjoyed big success with Mboko after guiding the 19-year-old to the Montreal and Hong Kong titles this year, as well as a career-high ranking of No. 18 in the world.
