Tony Finau is one of the golfers to whom the greatest attention is directed. Back in 2019, the American golfer was one of the biggest talents in the world of golf, but his career took a downward trajectory.
Most predicted that Finau would win multiple Majors and be a dominant figure in the world of golf, but year after year he failed to show the quality expected of him.
This year has been equally disappointing for him, and in an interview with YouTube channel The Lads. There, the popular golfer said that this is the worst season of his career. However, he doesn't want to look at things negatively, wondering what he needs to do to play better.

Also, Finau points out that injuries were one of the main barriers during this season and that it is really difficult to be dominant in such conditions.
Jason Day gives advice
However, his colleague Jason Day, who is also considered one of the greatest talents in the world of golf, knows all too well what it's like to fall short of expectations and experience a slump.
Jason Day sent a clear message to Finau, telling him that ups and downs are part of a career. Few are dominant tournament after tournament, given that the world of golf is extremely competitive and there are so many talented golfers.
"Its so hard to have [a straight] trajectory, you know what I mean? There has to be a little bit of [ups and downs], but as long as, over time, itll just slowly go [up], you know what I mean? Its hard to be like a Scottie or a Rory, where you just rocket.

Thats a small percentage, and everyones different. We got to learn our own things and learn how to do things separately. I know that you said its been your worst year, but its been more of a learning year, and I think youre getting smarter from it, and it will only help you in the future, which is great.- Day said.
Such advice may be useful for the American who will certainly give his maximum during the upcoming seasons and do everything to be dominant on the PGA Tour and other tournaments.
