Bryson DeChambeau is considered by many the strongest weapon of LIV Golf, the player on whom the leaders of the controversial league place the most hope. After Bryson's arrival in the controversial league, a huge dust-up arose and the public reacted furiously to his departure.
The American golfer still chose such a path, feeling that LIV represents the right project for him and a chance to further improve as a golfer.
However, the leaders of the Saudi-backed Tour are somewhat concerned and realize that Bryson DeChambeau's contract expires next year, and the question is whether he will consider extending the contract.
Speaking to the Golf Channel podcast, Rex Hoggard spoke openly about the chaotic situation within LIV, believing that the CEO of LIV Golf is mostly thinking about how to renewBryson's contract. Looking at the results of LIV Golfers at the majors in the last couple of years, it is clear that Bryson was the most dominant figure of LIV Golf.

His departure would be a big blow for the leaders of the Saudi-backed Tour.
I think what would signal to the other players on LIV is more telling, because it would show them that no, youre not consigned to this lot in life just because you took big pot of money. You can come back and this is the way that you could do it, he said.
That, to me, would be the bigger message that would be sent because, also lets keep in mind, Bryson DeChambeaus contract is coming up as well.
And youre right, Brooks may be doing this as a negotiating ploy, I dont think anybody is really concerned about that right now, because my guess is Scott ONeil is busy enough trying to figure out how hes going to re-sign Bryson. Are LIV leaders willing to give more money?
However, whether the LIV leaders are ready to give a huge sum of money, that is, a much larger sum than the original one, remains to be seen.
If stars like DeChambeau leave their project in the coming years, it will be a serious problem and probably one of the biggest disappointments.
