Sting isnt shy about where he felt most comfortable during his decades-spanning careerand it wasnt WWE or TNA.
In a new interview on Going Ringside, the legendary performer opened up about his experiences across wrestlings top companies and gave a rare, unfiltered answer about what really made AEW stand apart. When asked to compare his time in WWE, TNA, and AEW, the wrestling icon didnt mince words. He acknowledged each promotion had its own vibe but made it very clear which one felt like his personal stomping ground.
Sting then turned his attention to Tony Khan, the man responsible for bringing him into AEW and giving him one final chapter that fans never saw coming. And if anyone doubted how the Stinger feels about working with the AEW boss, his next words should shut that down completely.
This is a powerful endorsement from someone whos seen it allfrom WCW to TNA to WWE to AEW. And for Sting, AEW wasnt just a place to workit was a place where he could close out his career on his own terms, with creative support and mutual respect.
With Stings final matches fast approaching, its clear that his AEW legacy wont just be about matches or momentsitll be about belonging.
