Just hours before WWE NXT Deadline goes live from the Boeing Center in San Antonio, Ethan Page took to the parking lot outside the venue to cut one last promoand he made it personal.
Page, who is set to defend his NXT North American Championship against AAAs Mr. Iguana, didnt mince words when addressing the challenger. But instead of hyping the match in typical fashion, Page brought up a bizarre off-screen incident involving a rental carand claimed Iguana left WWE with a mess to clean up.
Page leaned into the metaphor and sent a clear message that the good times are over.
He capped it off with a threat that only adds more fuel to the fire for tonights showdown.
With emotions running high and the championship on the line, this match just went from a standard title bout to something far more personal.
