In addition to being a legend who continues to be competitive at 38, Novak Djokovic is also a source of inspiration for young players aiming to win major titles in their careers. The former world No.1 has been an example of longevity and resilience, having worked harder than ever even after breaking any men's tennis record.
The Serbian champion has no intention of stopping playing in the near future, indeed he wants to represent his Serbia for the last time at the Los Angeles Olympics scheduled for 2028 (when he will be 41 years old).
The Belgrade star who ended a season where he lifted two trophies (in Geneva and Athens) by reaching the semifinals in the four Majors has already begun preparing for 2026, in which he will once again assault a Grand Slam title. It is no secret that Nole wants to reach 25, so as to break yet another record and prove that age is just a number.

Djokovic is a source of inspiration
Nole is aware that the 2026 Australian Open could represent one of his best chances to achieve this goal, having always had a special feeling with the Happy Slam that has crowned him on ten occasions (the last time in 2023).
For this reason, Novak is regenerating his body in view of the start of next season and no opponent will be able to afford to underestimate a legend of his caliber in the most important tournaments on the calendar.
During a podcast, Italian player Mattia Bellucci said that he had the chance to practice with Djokovic at the US Open this summer: "Unlike many other players, Nole is very intense during practice sessions and the expectations are really high. He demands the best from both himself and his team and if something doesn't go according to the forecasts he tends to get very angry. That practice session allowed me to understand something more about the level of the best players, I never imagined I would find myself in such a situation."
