Jannik Sinner is back on the grind. After closing out another marvelous season, world no. 2 has resurfaced in Dubai to begin preparations for the 2026 campaign and the AustralianOpen title defense.
The Italian wrapped up the season with his second straight ATP Finals crown. He enjoyed a short but refreshing escape to the Maldives, switching off after a demanding year before stepping back into the court.
Sinner's initial training block will focus on the foundations - movement, timing and ball rhythm. After that, the four-time Major winner will increase his intensity and begin with fine-tuning.
The goal is crystal clear. Jannik want to arrive in Melbourne at peak sharpness and try to get his hands on the third consecutive trophy at Rod Laver Arena. The numbers behind the San Candidonative's 2025 season speak for themselves.

Sinner compiled a remarkable 58-6 record in the season behind us. He missed three months of action due to his suspension but never lost his focus or sharpness.
The Italian entered 12 tournaments in 2025 and reached the final in ten, with only two early defeats. He lifted six trophies, four notable ones and wrote history books after competing in the final of all four Majors and the ATP Finals.
Jannik lost to only three rivals this season. His greatest rival, Carlos Alcaraz, provided four of those losses in the notable finals in Rome, Paris, Cincinnati and the US Open.
In the end, that fact made the difference in their year-end no. 1 battle. The season underlined an evolving rivalry between Sinner and Alcaraz, with both rivals maintaining a stratospheric level.

While Melbourne awaits, Dubai marks the first step on his journey.
