Nikki Bella didnt just walk into WWE Survivor Series: WarGames with a championship dreamshe walked in worried her gear might betray her. After coming up short against Stephanie Vaquer in San Diego, Nikki opened up on The Nikki & Brie Show about the real behindthescenes fear she carried into the match: a full-blown wardrobe malfunction.
According to Nikki, her new gear looked amazing in the sketch, but when she saw it in person, reality hit fast. Things took an unexpected turn when her designer arrived in LA with the finished product.
With live TV, thousands in the arena, and a world title match on the line, Nikki did what any seasoned performer would: she made sure nothing was slipping.
Even then, she admitted there were moments during the match where she was worried about a wardrobe malfuctionespecially during bumps.
Wardrobe scare or not, Nikki went to war with Vaquer in her hometown, taking nasty spotsincluding multiple Devils Kisses and a corkscrew moonsaultbefore ultimately taking the loss. But as she said backstage afterwards, this isnt the end of the Nikki Bella comeback run.
Now, with her gear mishap confession out in the open, fans have a whole new appreciation for what she battled inside and outside the ring that night.
