Roger Federer does not miss professional tennis and is enjoying life together with his family, being aware that he has given his best for tennis to which he has dedicated most of his time. The former world number 1 had a very long career at the highest level and was an example of longevity with few equals in modern sport, as well as having achieved a level of popularity globally that has remained intact to this day.

The Swiss legend continues to make sporadic appearances on the professional tour as a guest of the various tournaments and was present at the Shanghai Rolex Masters during the autumn, as well as still being very involved in the organization of the Laver Cup (the 2025 edition was staged at the Chase Center in San Francisco and next year it will return to the O2 Arena in London, where he played the last match of his extraordinary career in 2022).

Roger is in no hurry about his future

The 20-time Grand Slam champion has also promised his fans that he will organize some exhibition matches with his old rivals in the near future and - according to the latest rumors - he has a plan to involve Rafael Nadal in 2026. The Spaniard ended his professional career exactly a year ago and has remained in touch with King Roger, with the two former rivals having met several times both at Rafa's academy in Manacor and to play golf.

In a long interview with the Swiss newspaper '24 heures', Federer revealed what he would like to do in the future: "I'm not interested in being a TV commentator for the moment. I'm spending most of my time with my family and kids, so I don't have enough time to do something like that. No one can know what will happen in the future, never say never, but I must admit that I would like to mentor some young talent and make my experience available to others."
