Survivor Series 2025 isnt just about brand warfareits about launching WWE straight into WrestleMania season.
According to Ibou from Self Made Pro, the November 29 Premium Live Event will do more than settle scores inside WarGames. WWE is reportedly gearing up to reveal the WrestleMania 42 main event plans immediately following Survivor Series, with major storyline moves expected during the post-show week of television.
Ibou compared the move to a previous WWE tactic from 2023, when Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns faced off during the SmackDown season premiere to subtly lock in their eventual WrestleMania 40 showdown.
The stakes are higher than ever heading into Survivor Series. The Mens WarGames match features top stars like Roman Reigns, CM Punk, and Cody Rhodes on one side, going to war with Drew McIntyre, Brock Lesnar, and the Visions Logan Paul, Bronson Reed, and Bron Breakker. With that level of talent stacked inside the double cage, its no stretch to assume the outcome could spark a path straight to the main event of WrestleMania 42.
Whether its Punk vs. Cody, Reigns vs. Lesnar one more time, or a brand-new collision fans didnt expect, WWE seems ready to use WarGames as the springboard for their biggest show of the year.
