
Victoria Mboko, a 19-year-old Canadian tennis player, has been a huge success in the last 12 months, jumping from 333rd to 18th on the WTA rankings.
In an interview with the media, Mboko shared feelings about the season, revealing that she is delighted with her achievements. The young tennis player now wants to rest, stressing that she needs a rest after an exhausting season that many tennis players complained about.
It feels good to be healthy, most of all, she said, as quoted by Tennis Up To Date.
I didnt see my tennis bag for a little bit when I came home. My time off was really nice and relaxed.

After winning two WTA titles this season and proving she can keep up with top players, Mboko has every reason to look forward to the future.
Victoria smiled and said that all this seems like a dream to her, as she did not expect such a rise.
Seeing yourself grow and achieve your goals is something every tennis player dreams of.
If Id told myself at the beginning of the year that Id be No. 18 in the world? Heck no, absolutely not! she laughed. This was my first year playing a full schedule. Seeing my ranking go up slowly was really nice. I can take this year as a learning opportunity Im still growing as a player and a person.
Mboko's future
Being 19 years old and playing so brilliantly certainly guarantees that the Canadian tennis player will make even greater progress and that she will eventually join the top 10 of the WTA rankings next year.
