Alexandra Eala has officially hit vacation mode after enjoying a breakout season in 2025 as the world No. 50 shared several snaps taken on the beach.
Eala, who sensationally reached the semifinal of the WTA 1000 tournament in Miami as a wildcard after upsetting a couple of Grand Slam champions, concluded her tennis season on October 30th with a Hong Kong round-of-16 loss to Victoria Mboko. However, the Filipina tennis star didn't instantly stop with tennis activities as she recently went to Spain and had a hit with Rafael Nadal on the first anniversary of the Spaniard's retirement from tennis.
But now, tennis activities have been put on hold and Eala is living her best life by the sea.

Eala wrote tennis history on several instances this year - the first player to reach a WTA 1000 semifinal, the first player from the Philippines to beat a top-30 player - the first player from her country to reach the top-100 and then also crack the top-50.

Going into 2026, Eala hopes to do even greater things. However, the 20-year-old rising star isn't rushing anything.
"I think in regard to coming this far and everything, I take so much pride in this, the effect that I've noticed that I've had on inspiring a spark of tennis in my country, in Southeast Asia and hopefully wherever else it has. But that's not to say that (2026 is) going to be my peak. Because this is the best I can be now, but maybe I can be even better in the future. So maybe 2026, I'll be the best Alex I can be then, but maybe 2027 will be even better. You never know, I don't know - but yes," Eala told the Olympics website in late October.
