Overall, this is the fourth triumph in the Davis Cup for the Italians (they first won it in 1976), but also the first one they celebrated on home soil. And they did it without their two best players, Jannik Sinner and Lorenzo Musetti.

Cobolli's message
Munar wanted to create problems for Cobolli, and after dominating in the first set, it was expected that he might easily finish the job and thus help the Spaniards. However, Cobolli, with the support of his teammates and the home crowd, turned the match around and brought great joy to everyone.
