The Italian men's tennis team became the fourth team in history to win the Davis Cup three years in a row. In Sunday's final in Bologna, they defeated Spain 2-0, with Matteo Berrettini and Flavio Cobolli excelling.
Berrettini defeated Pablo Carreo-Busta 6-3, 6-4 in the first match, and in the second match, Flavio Cobolli brought the trophy to the Italians with a comeback, defeating Jaume Munar 1-6, 7-6 (5), 7-5. The Spaniard was in complete control of the events on the court and the score until the match was interrupted in the second game of the second set, which occurred due to a medical attention in the stands.

It is important to point out that the Spaniards were also significantly weakened in this tournament as they were missing the world number one, Carlos Alcaraz. This was the first final for the Spaniards since 2019, but unfortunately they failed to lift the trophy this time.
