Tony Chimel has been working with AEW since last year but now it appears his time with the company has come to an end.

While speaking to All Axxess Entertainment, Tony Chimel was asked about his experience working with AEW. He explained that he enjoyed his time there, mentioning that the company is smaller and operates differently than WWE, but the people are friendly and he already knew many of them from his WWE days.

Chimel said he was grateful for the opportunity and made it clear that his time with AEW is over. He described his run as a short but positive one, noting that AEW chooses to operate in its own way.

This comes after Tony Chimel claimed back in February this year that AEW would have likely let him work as part of John Cenas retirement tour, since he was still part of the company back then. However, none of that happened in the end.

Now that hes no longer under AEWs umbrella, we will have to wait and see whether Tony Chimel will make his way back to WWE somewhere down the line as fans would love to see him back.

What do you think about Tony Chimel leaving AEW? Do you think AEW should have done more with him? Sound off in the comments.
