Flavio Cobolli couldn't hide his happiness after being the one to seal Italy's Davis Cup triumph as the 23-year-old said it was "Impossible" to describe how he actually felt.
In the opening match of the Italy and Spain final in Bologna, 2021 Wimbledon finalist Matteo Berrettini put the hosts 1-0 in front after beating Pablo Carreno Busta.
Next on the court was Cobolli, who had a chance to complete Italy's win by beating Jaume Munar. And after nearly three hours of grueling play, the world No. 22 managed to do so after edging out Munar 1-6 7-6 (5) 7-5. Had the 23-year-old Italian lost, there would have been a deciding doubles match.

After easily losing the first set, Cobolli was also down by a break in the second set before mounting a big comeback.

In Bologna, Italy was without its two top-10 players - Jannik Sinner and Lorenzo Musetti. But Cobolli and Berrettini stepped up big time, each going 3/3 in their singles matches.
Italy has now won the last three Davis Cup editions.
