
WWE has officially confirmed that the winner of The Last Time Is Now tournament will go on to face John Cena in his final match on December 13, during a special Saturday Nights Main Event broadcast.
The updated tournament bracket was revealed following the completion of the first round, setting the stage for some major matchups. The tournament will now advance through the quarterfinals and semifinals in the coming weeks, all building toward the monumental showdown with Cena.
On one side of the bracket:
- Jey Uso vs. Rusev
- LA Knight vs. TBD, after Sheamus was pulled due to a shoulder injury. WWE says Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis are working together to determine who will replace him.
On the other side:
- Solo Sikoa vs. Penta
- Carmelo Hayes vs. GUNTHER
The tournament will determine who earns the honor of facing John Cena in what WWE is billing as the final match of his iconic careerset to take place December 13 at Saturday Nights Main Event.
