AJ Lees return to WWE television on the November 17 edition of RAW was supposed to be a celebration. Instead, it triggered a disturbing outburst from an unhinged Twitter user who launched a hateful tirade filled with racist and false accusationsgoing so far as to call for her deportation.
A Twitter user identified as Big Mike began targeting AJ Lee, tagging public figures like Donald Trump, South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem, and the official ICE account in multiple posts, falsely calling AJ a violent illegal. Despite AJ Lee being a U.S. citizen born in Union City, New Jersey, the user demanded that government agencies do their job and remove her.
He continued the rant in another tweet, again tagging Trump, Noem, and ICE:
The situation spiraled further as the same person bizarrely turned on both AJ Lee and her husband CM Punk, calling them personal disappointments:
The user then attempted to link AJ to federal immigration violence, tagging her in a video of ICE agents tasing a woman and claiming she was responsible simply because she works for WWE.
And the harassment wasnt new. In a tweet from back in October, the same account accused AJ of coming out of hiding and called on ICE to target her.
These repeated and baseless attacks against AJ Lee have caused concern among fans, especially considering her very public and well-respected role in both wrestling and mental health advocacy. What was meant to be a triumphant moment has now been overshadowed by a deranged online campaign rooted in racism, xenophobia, and obsession.
AJ Lee has not responded publicly to the harassment, but support continues to pour in from fans who want nothing more than to see her safe and celebratednot targeted by hateful lies.
