AEW is stepping things up before their pay-per-views with a new one-hour special on TNT called Tailgate Brawland its already delivering some serious heat. The latest match to hit the card came straight from Eddie Kingston and HOOK, who just issued an open challenge for the event.
In a new video posted to AEWs social media, Kingston didnt hold back as he addressed the fans and dropped news of the new bout himself.
He went on to run through the updated card himself, giving fans a preview of whats shaping up to be a chaotic hour of live action.
The special is now stacked with four matchups, including a title defense and a $200,000 tag team fight. But Kingston and HOOKs involvement brings a whole new level of unpredictability to the pre-show.
How the card is shaping up for the Tailgate Brawl:
- $200,000 Four-Way Tag Team Match: Big Bill & Bryan Keith vs. Anthony Bowens & Max Caster vs. The Outrunners (Truth Magnum & Turbo Floyd) vs. Bang Bang Gang (Austin Gunn & Juice Robinson)
- RPG VICE (Rocky Romero & Trent Beretta) vs. Big Boom A.J. & Q.T. Marshall (w/ Big Justice)
- Open Challenge: Eddie Kingston & HOOK vs. TBA & TBA
- CMLL World Trios Championship Match: El Sky Team (Mscara Dorada, Mstico & Nen) (c) vs. Don Callis Family (Hechicero, Kazuchika Okada & Konosuke Takeshita)
With Okada and Takeshita fighting for trios gold and the Acclaimed jumping into a big-money tag bout, the Tailgate Brawl is shaping up to be just as unpredictable as the pay-per-view itself. Kingston and HOOKs challenge only adds more fuel to the fireand whoever steps up better be ready for war.
