Seth Rollins may be recovering from shoulder surgery, but hes not staying out of the spotlight for long. While the former World Heavyweight Champion remains off WWE television, a new appearance has been officially confirmedand its happening on Christmas Day.

Netflix Sports has announced that Rollins will be a special guest during Game 2 of the December 25 Christmas Gameday broadcast, which features the Detroit Lions vs. Minnesota Vikings at 4:30 PM ET. The entire day of football will be streamed exclusively on Netflix.

Earlier this year, Rollins mentioned he would appear on Good Morning Football and Sunday Gameday during the NFL season. His involvement with Netflixs Christmas Day coverage continues that trend, giving fans another dose of Rollins even while hes sidelined from in-ring action.

Rollins suffered a shoulder injury during his match with Cody Rhodes at WWE Crown Jewel on October 11. Not long after, he confirmed that he would be out of action for approximately six months. That recovery timeline pushes him beyond WrestleMania 42 in April 2026, making this Netflix appearance one of the few times fans will see him before a potential WWE return.

In WWE storyline terms, Rollins was written off television after a brutal attack by Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, which also marked the end of The Vision faction for now.

Even while injured, Rollins is keeping himself visibleand now hes bringing his charisma to Christmas Day football.
