Dolph Zigglers return at Madison Square Garden during the November 17 episode of WWE RAW had the crowd on their feet, but it turns out the appearance wasnt a full-fledged WWE comeback. Instead, it was a one-night dealZiggler is still with TNA.

According to Fightful Select, sources clarified that Ziggler is not signed to a WWE contract. Much like Matt Cardonas surprise appearance the week prior on SmackDown, Zigglers RAW moment was done under a short-term agreement. WWE brought him in to face Solo Sikoa in the Last Time Is Now Tournament, but theres no long-term commitment behind the scenes.

TNA sources mentioned that Ziggler, now performing on the indies as Nic Nemeth, prefers this kind of flexibility after spending years locked into WWEs rigid structure.

Although he took a loss to Solo Sikoa, Zigglers performance impressed WWE officials.

While Zigglers entrance brought nostalgia and electricity to the Garden, fans shouldnt read too much into it. Just like Cardona, this appearance seems to be a one-offfor now.

Should WWE offer Ziggler a full-time return, or is he better off keeping his options open in TNA and the indies? Drop your thoughts below and let us know where you want to see him next.
