Tamara Korpatsch emerged as the champion at last week's ITF tournament in Funchal, but still had to deal with angry bettors despite making it all the way and lifting the title.

On Sunday, Korpatsch - who is ranked at No. 141 in the world - recovered from a set down to beat 696th-ranked Lea Nillson 5-7 7-5 6-1 in the W50 Funchal final. For the 30-year-old German, it was all but an easy day at the office since she had to work extremely hard before beating the 17-year-old Swedish teenager. But instead of being praised for her comeback, the former world No. 71 was met with insults from bettors, who seemingly had an issue with her not taking out Nillson in straight sets.

Korpatsch: I don't care in how many sets I won this match, nor about your bets

"Hey guys! I wanna let you all know, that I actually still don't care about your hate messages. I'm sorry if I won the tournament I won 50 points and I'm happy! And I give a f--- if I won this match in 3 or 2 sets. I'm not getting more points for winning in 2 sets and I don't get less points for just winning in 3. And also I don't f------ care if you guys bet on my matches and complain to lose money! Guys, don't let your anger out on real human, cause you are no human! You are seriously just monsters and people with a very ugly heart!" the world No. 141 wrote on Instagram.
