Wes Lee may be gone, but Dezmond Xavier is officially back in the mixand TNA knew exactly what they were doing.

According to Fightful Select, Xaviers return to TNA Turning Point was the least surprising surprise in recent memory, and it was completely intentional. TNA leaned into the obvious and embraced the fan speculation, knowing full well that most people had already figured out who the mystery partner would be in The Rascalzs 8-man tag team match.

And the payoff? Worth it. The crowd at Full Sail erupted when Dezmond Xavier made his entrance alongside Trey Miguel, Myron Reed, and Zachary Wentz to take on The System (Brian Myers, Eddie Edwards, JDC, and Moose). TNA officials were reportedly happy with the reaction his return got as well as his performance.

But dont expect a long-term contract just yet. Xavier is currently not signed to TNA, although creative plans are already in place for him to continue appearing with the team.

As for the rest of The Rascalz, theres more potential movement ahead. Zachary Wentzs deal with TNA is reportedly expiring at the end of the year, and the group is expected to evaluate their options moving forward. Outside interest in The Rascalz is said to be growing, which could shake things up for the faction sooner than later.

Fightful is also looking into the contract status of Trey Miguel and Myron Reed, so this could be a pivotal stretch for one of wrestlings most exciting trios.

Should TNA lock Dezmond Xavier and The Rascalz downor would they be better off testing the waters elsewhere? Drop your thoughts in the comments.
