Paul Heyman may be known for running his mouth in the wrestling world, but in a rare moment on Whats Your Story with Steph McMahon, he shared a story that left him speechlessand it all centered around a young boy who had no time for tears.
Heyman was reflecting on a MakeAWish visit he did alongside Brock Lesnar. The child, only 11 years old and terminally ill, had been given just weeks to live. The doctors warned Heyman and Lesnar that the kid would get tired quicklybut what happened next blew them both away.
But it wasnt just the kids strengthit was how he handled his parents that stuck with Heyman forever. When his mother or father started crying, the boy shut it down immediately.
Heyman described the soul-crushing pain in the parents eyesbut it was the child who kept them strong.
Months later, against all odds, the boy kept his promise and showed up at WrestleMania. Heyman ran to Lesnar in disbelief: the kid had made it. Backstage, the emotional moment repeated itselfbut again, the boy kept it real with his parents.
Then he told Heyman something that broke him and Heyman finished by explaining that this is why he always says hes blessed.
