Golf fans were hoping to see Tiger and Charlie at this year's PNC Championship, but unfortunately, the 49-year-old golfer is currently recovering from yet another surgery and it's unclear when he'll be back on the golf course. While earlier this year predictions were that Tiger could be back on the course as early as 2026 after another surgery, that scenario seems far from reality.
The PNC Championship was a chance to watch popular golfers with their families, but the tradition that was supposed to last since 2020 between Tiger and Charlie will now be interrupted, at least for a while.
16-year-old Charlie has been attracting a lot of attention this year with his brilliant performances in junior tournaments, where he has shown serious potential and hinted that he could follow in his father's footsteps.
Although the pressure is immense, if Charlie is at least partially as good as Tiger, he will certainly have a promising career filled with successes.

Tiger Woods has often spoken in superlatives about his son, who, as a 13-year-old, showed signs of being on the right track to becoming a professional golfer.
Although Tiger and Charlie have yet to win the PNC Championship together, he hopes they will have the opportunity to play together in the future and try to win the trophy.
Charlie's hole-in-one that delighted the public
Golf fans will especially remember Charlie's hole-in-one on the fourth hole, and Tiger said after the impressive move that he was delighted with his son's success, hoping he would continue to follow in his footsteps in the future.
"It's one of the highlights that we've ever had," Woods said. "We were talking about earlier, he made his first eagle. Now he just made his first hole-in-one. It's a magical two-hole stretch.

I'm just so happy for him. It was a lot of fun. It was back-and-forth, no one made a mistake today."
