The collaboration between Ted Scott and Scottie Scheffler has been going on for four years, and when we look back at their beginning and the period since then, it can be said that this is probably one of the most successful collaborations in the world of golf. Scottie Scheffler has been doing incredible things, especially in the last two seasons in which he has been an absolutely dominant figure and it seems that no one will be able to surpass him in the next years.
The 29-year-old is well on his way to completing the career Grand Slam, and most are already comparing him to Tiger Woods.
His caddie Ted Scott decided to share how the collaboration between the two came about and who was the main link in this story.
Although Scott primarily wanted to take a break from golf and devote himself to his family, the invitation still aroused his curiosity and after long conversations he realized that it was time for a new adventure.

"When I got the phone call, it was basically through a mutual friend of ours," Scott said.
"Some of yall might know Steven Bunn. His counterpart, Brad Payne, called me and said, 'Hey, you're about to get a phone call from an amazing golfer, and I really think you ought to take the job.'
"And I called my wife and said, 'I can't believe I'm about to start working for Tiger Woods. This is so cool.'
"But then Scottie called me and I was like, 'Oh.' So that was kind of disappointing. He was only 19th in the world and hadn't won anything yet."
Demands
However, Scott had special demands for Scottie Scheffler, who was still a young golfer at the time, not as dominant as he is now.
The popular caddie had noticed at some of the tournaments that Scottie was a golfer with a volatile personality and outbursts on the golf course, so he wanted Scheffler to change his behavior if they wanted to work together seriously.

"Then I said, 'Look man, I don't know if I want to work for you.' And he was like, 'What do you mean by that?' And we kind of went into how he presents himself - not to hold him to perfection, but just to say, I don't want to work for somebody that's just going to have a bad attitude. 'Can you work on it?' I asked. And he said, 'Absolutely.'- he concluded.
