Nixon Newell isnt holding back anymore. After staying relatively quiet during the fallout from her abrupt AEW Collision exit, shes now calling out what she sees as a toxic mix of backstage snitches and dirt sheet fabricationsmaking it clear shes tired of people twisting the narrative.
During a Twitch stream this evening, Newell pushed back hard on claims that she was sent home by AEW or walked out in anger. She explained that after being given only three minutes for a tag team match with Miranda Alize, they spoke with the AEW producer, who gave them the green light to leave if they preferred not to perform. They exited respectfullybut the aftermath quickly spun out of control online.
Thats when Newell dropped the real update. She revealed that people inside AEW leaked false narratives to dirt sheets, and she has no respect left for them.
Without naming names, Newell appeared to be addressing individuals within AEW who she believes ran to the press with a skewed version of events. She took issue not just with the liesbut with the people close enough to know better choosing to stay silent.
Miranda Alize, who appeared alongside her on stream, was even more direct, saying the online coverage has nothing to do with facts:
Newell added that shes not interested in releasing receipts or proving anything, because theres no bad bloodbut she made it clear that the narrative online has been fiction from the start.
The AEW walkout story originally gained steam after she was spotted Newell and Alize out drinking shortly after the event. Critics seized on the timing, suggesting the two bailed on the show for personal reasons. Newell addressed that, too, pointing out its completely normal for them to go out after eventsespecially when their appearance was pulled.
Now, shes trying to move onbut not without warning fans about what really goes on behind the scenes. As for her future, Newell confirmed that 2025 will be her final year in wrestling. Shes not chasing contracts, clout, or backstage dramashes just looking to enjoy what time she has left.
Newell says shell be doing things on her terms with her tag partner Miranda Alizeno politics, no grudges.
AEW hasnt commented publicly on the situation. But if Newells stream is any indication, this isnt about getting attentionits about setting the record straight before she rides off into the sunset.
